The events are designed for all levels of experience. You don’t have to be super fit and serious, but you do need to have a sense of adventure and a ‘give it a go’ attitude. In traditional adventure racing style the course route is not disclosed until the day of the race and you only find out the location of the event briefing one week before race day!



Torpedo7 Get2Go

This is a great entry level team outdoor adventure challenge. The Torpedo7 Get2Go comprises a series of fun  regional team adventure challenges, for year 9 and 10 students from all levels of fitness and experience, culminating in a national Grand Final for qualifying participants.







Macpac Rogaine Series

The Macpac Rogaine Series are navigation based team challenges for any students in years 9-13. Each challenge is 2-hours in duration and a mix between orienteering and rogaining.







Macpac Hillary Challenge

The Macpac Hillary Challenge 6-hour Adventure Races are open to all Secondary School Students in year 11, 12, and 13 throughout New Zealand and are a great introduction to Adventure Racing.







Macpac Hillary Challenge Final

The Macpac Hillary Challenge Final is undoubtedly the toughest adventure competition for high school students and the battle for first is intense because it is a prestigious and highly coveted title for schools to achieve. Not only does this event require a high level of physical and mental fitness, being a team sport, members need the ability to work together under stress.
