Hillary Whānau – Coromandel

Strengthen and develop your relationship as a whānau in a fun, supportive outdoor environment.
This unique camp is designed to help parents/caregivers and teens spend meaningful time together, away from screens and distractions. When you arrive, phones will be collected from teens/tweens, and adults are encouraged to do the same (you’ll gain more from the programme if you do!).
Use downtime to talk, hang out, play games, or go for a walk together. Make the most of the opportunity to connect and get to know each other in a new way.
Throughout the programme, you will:
- Strengthen open communication between the parents and teens.
- Enjoy quality time together, creating shared memories.
- Opportunity for adults and teens to meet and socialise with new people.
- Experience the outdoors and develop skills in nature.
Dates: Sunday 18th – Friday 23rd January 2026
Who is this for? Parent/guardian/whānau member and their teen aged 11-19 years old
Enrolment: Both adult and teen will need to complete the registration form – including personal motivation, interest and goals and pay the programme fee. If you have any questions about the programme, please get in touch with one of our Programme Coordinators – bookings@hillaryoutdoors.co.nz or 07 386 5511.
