Explorer – Coromandel
Join other youth aged 11 & 12 years old for a multi-pursuit adventure programme all about having fun, meeting new people, building confidence, learning new skills and expanding your comfort zone in a safe and supported environment. Sign up solo (most do!) or get a friend to join you.
From day one, you’ll help shape the week with your team and instructor. There is no set schedule; activities are tailored to your goals, interests, and the weather.
You’ll build confidence through outdoor day trips, then put your new skills to the test on a long day journey. This might be your first time reading a map, hiking, or paddling. You’ll cook outdoors, stargaze, play games, and share stories—an unforgettable way to connect with nature, others, and yourself.
Come ready for adventure and you’ll leave with memories, friendships, and confidence that will last a lifetime.

Cost breakdown
$1,523 – That’s $304.60 per day, including:
- 7 hours of adventure daily
- 5 nights’ accommodation
- Nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners (from arrival to departure)
- Transport to and from activities
- Highly skilled, qualified instructors
- Ongoing pastoral care and safety support
- Use of specialist gear
