Adventurer – White Water Kayaking

This exciting programme offers students aged 13-16 years old the opportunity to build confidence, connect with peers, and have fun while paddling rivers in the Central Plateau and surrounding regions. Whether you’re completely new to white water kayaking or looking to take your skills further, this is a fantastic way to dive into the adventure.
No prior white water kayaking experience is required.
Thanks to the generous funding from Genesis Energy, we are offering a scholarship for rangatahi living in the Tongariro Genesis Energy Power Scheme geographic area.


Cost breakdown
$1,520 – For students from across the motu
$599.90 – For local students within the Genesis Energy Power Scheme geographic area
That’s $380 ($149.80 for local students) per day, including:
🗻 7 hours of adventure daily
🛏️ 4 nights’ accommodation
🍽️ Nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners (from arrival to departure)
🚌 Transport to and from activities
🧗♂️ Small group, targeted learning with highly skilled, qualified instructors = 1 instructor to 4 participants
🫶 Ongoing pastoral care and safety support
🛶 Use of specialist kayak gear
