Unlock Potential with Tailored Outdoor Programmes for Educators
Hillary Outdoors offers bespoke, experiential programmes designed specifically for teachers and educators. These programmes promote leadership, confidence, and stronger connections within your team. Our tailored sessions provide a unique opportunity for teachers to lead their own Professional Development workshops, with outdoor activities seamlessly complementing the experience.
In addition to fostering interpersonal skills and team cohesion, we can focus on enhancing specific technical skills that are crucial to your team’s success. Whether you need to upskill for your school’s EOTC programme or refine your personal abilities, we’ve got you covered. Our expert instructors can guide your team through key outdoor pursuits such as risk management, bushcraft (navigation, river crossing, survival skills), watercraft skills (canoeing, sea kayaking, white-water kayaking, and sit-on-top kayaks), rock climbing and more.
If you have a specific goal, such as progressing towards NZOIA awards or upskilling in outdoor first aid, we can support your team on that journey. We can work together to create a custom programme suited to your specific needs and objectives.
Our multi-day programmes are typically delivered during school holidays and can be held at one of our two Centres, Tongariro and Coromandel. Whether you’re looking to build leadership, develop technical expertise, or boost team morale, Hillary Outdoors provides a dynamic and impactful experience for your whole team.
