Adventurer Camp – Coromandel

Chase the tide and find your crew. Our Coromandel Adventurer Camp is built for 13–16-year-olds who want to explore the stunning Port Charles coastline. This is your chance to master the waves, explore secret coves, and connect with lifelong friends. From surfing to sea kayaking, you will build confidence and connection in one of New Zealand’s most beautiful settings. Your coastal story starts here.
Perfect for first-timers or returning adventurers, this teen holiday camp focuses on fun, outdoor exploration and trying new things in a safe, fully supported environment.
What to Expect
There is no fixed schedule! You’ll create your camp experience with your group and instructor based on your goals, interests, and weather conditions.
During the week, you’ll experience:
- Evening games and group activities to keep the fun going
- A highlight overnight expedition, heading to a remote campsite to sleep under the stars
- Team challenges and group games that build connection and confidence
- Plenty of chances to make new friendships and lasting memories
- Instructor-led outdoor activities including:

$1,523 = $304.60 per day, including:
- 7 hours of adventure daily
- 5 nights’ accommodation

Phone Free Time
Participants can either leave their phones at home or store them away safely on the arrival night, and collect
them on departure day so they can be fully engaged in their programme.
Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award – Gold Residential
This programme meets the requirements for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award – Gold Residential. Students must already be enrolled in the DOE programme and ask instructors to sign them off at the end of the programme.
