Your first big school holiday adventure awaits! Our 5-day Explorer Camp in the stunning Coromandel is the perfect residential introduction to the great outdoors for 11 and 12-year-olds. It is a week of discovery, laughter, and learning new skills in a safe, super-supportive environment. From beach adventures to cozy campfires, you will build amazing friendships and discover just how much fun nature can be.
Come on your own (most do!) or bring a friend—either way, you’ll quickly feel part of the group and ready to jump into the adventure.
What to Expect
From day one, you’ll help shape your camp experience alongside your group and instructor. There’s no fixed schedule, so your activities can flex around your interests, goals, and even the weather.
During your 4 days, you’ll enjoy:

Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award – Gold Residential
This programme meets the requirements for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award – Gold Residential. Students must already be enrolled in the DOE programme and ask instructors to sign them off at the end of the programme.
